Summer is just around the corner, join us for Salt & Light 12: Keeping Cool in a Crazy World, August 5th - 9th.

Elijah – now there was a prophet! God called and empowered Elijah to do some amazing things, including defending the worship of God over that of Baal, praying for rain after a long drought, raising the dead, bringing fire down from the sky, and being taken up in a whirlwind . You might think that he had an easy life, but our friend Elijah would at times get scared, worried, depressed, or feel alone. But God never left him or stopped caring from him, just like He will never leave us or stop caring for us! Join us at camp this summer and learn more about this loving God as we look at the life of Elijah.

But this is also camp, so there will be a variety of activities including the archery, BB guns, water balloon fights, paddle boats, hiking, volleyball, swimming, crafts, night games, basketball, Wacky Olympics, and very messy games - to name but a few!

The bus is here and we are on time. See you at Wildwood about 11:30.

Wednesday

Another great day. Our theme this week has been The Gospel.

Wednesday - Proclaim IT
Thursday - Enjoy IT

Wednesday is our traditional Shaving Cream fight, Kiddie Pool Kickball and the evening is our campfire night where the kids share about what they learned about God and the highlights of camp. It was fun to see God working and hear the fun and friendships that were made. Here are a few pics:

The bus is scheduled to be here by 10:00 so that should put us at Wildwood parking lot by 11:30ish. See you then.

Tuesday

Great weather day! We were able to get in all our scheduled activities. Rob can over and taught on what it means to Live Out The Gospel. We also did archery, rinsed our shirts, pool time, outdoor games, and cabin games. Here a little of our day:

Monday

Rain!! Major storm blew thru last night. Had a dry morning and was able to get in morning activities and Tie-Dye our shirts. Most of the afternoon and evening was spent indoors, but we were able to get in about an hour in the pool, and of course the snack shack. Rest of the week should be clear and sunny!! Our theme today was Believe IT. We challenged them, "Now that you know what the Gospel is, do you really believe it or is it just another story that you have heard?" Here are a few pic form our day.

Sunday Evening

Great first day! No rain!!! Pastor Scott lead off tonight's teaching with "What is the Gospel?" and the kids learned about Christ's reconciling work on the cross. We also had a great time in the pool and then a little Capture the Flag in the dark. Here are a few pics of the day.
