Thanks to all the campers and counselors for making this a great year at Salt & Light. Check back later in Sept for dates for next year's Salt & Light Camp. Have a great rest of the summer, and remember to be Salt & Light in the world for Christ.

Thursday

The bus is here and we have an on time departure, and we expect to arrive at Wildwood around 11:30 (EST). See you there!!!

Wednesday

Our last full day! Our spiritual emphasis for the day was how to be Salt & Light in the real world. We worked on real world examples challenging them to pick where their ‘Jerusalem’ (school, sports teams, cafeteria, recess, etc) was and how to build relationships to share the Good News of the Gospel. We had a little rain today, but were able to get in one more shot at the Lake and Pool, and ended the evening with a bonfire down by the Lake Front. Please check the web site in the morning for an update on our arrival time, we are tentatively set to arrive between 11:30 - 12:00 (EST).

Tuesday

A full day - Pastor Scott talked on knowing your personal testimony and knowing that God is seeking after you. We also had our canoe float and shaving cream fight!! It's late so here are a few pics....

Monday

Woke up to another beautiful day, only had about 30 minutes of rain today, so not much of our plan had to change. Our Spiritual Emphasis was the Gospel and what it means for Jesus to be both Savior AND Lord of our life. Activities included tie-dying our shirts, lake front including the blob, ice berg, paddle boats and afternoon games including a scavenger hunt. Tonight we continue with praise and then hit the pool again before evening devotion and lights out. More pictures coming tonight.

We Have Arrived

We have arrived!! A little excitement along the way – the bus blew a back tire three miles from our exit. Don't worry - all is well. It has been beautiful weather; we got settled into our cabins, had dinner and then our first talk on what it means to be Salt & Light as a Christian. Then on to the pool, crafts, capture the flag and lights out. A full first day, below are a few pics…
