Parents, the bus is here and we expect to arrive back at Wildwood by 11:00.
Our final full day at camp was a lot of fun! The kids played our traditional Kiddie Pool Kickball and Shaving Cream Fight. We also were able to work in our bonfire after a huge rain during our Worship and teaching time. God is good. We once again focused on being a servant and how it is Jesus in us that gives us the power to act. The bonfire time was a great testimony to what the kids have learned - from new friendships, new activities, and faith strengthening stories. Thanks again for allowing us this time with your kids. Look for an update tomorrow morning on our departure time.

We continued our talk about being a servant by looking at the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet, how He has set before us an example of serving others. We challenged the kids to think of ways that they can serve those around, especially service that costs them something, like washing smelly feet!

Pastor Scott joined us today for our activities and brought our lesson about being a servant from the parable of the Good Samaritan. Here are a few pics of the days activities:

We are off to a great start, despite the rain. We played some indoors games, had worship, our first lesson, and then the rain cleared and we got in some pool time! Our theme this week is service, so tonight we talked about how we can be Salt & Light in the world by serving. Here are a few pics:
we have arrived.
